In October 2023, Kim had the honor to have her first solo exhibition at Effie R. Conkling Gallery. "What Does a Rooster Say?" centers around solving design and curriculum issues found in Vietnamese textbooks. The show featured a new textbook and teaching aids designed with children in mind.
